7.7.11 Hunter's 1st Haircut

This haircut was LOOOONG overdue, but I was so scared to cut his hair and lose his cute baby looks.  Since he was born with such dark hair, when it started growing in lighter, it made his hair always look greasy on the ends.
He didn't really know what was coming in a few seconds, but what an adorable face!

I was sad to see all these cute curlies go, but it was a small price to pay to have him lookin' better
"Seriously Mom, GQ is gonna be calling me soon.  Now how am I gonna get any rest?"

I cut off a little over an inch, and it looked wayyy better.  I wish I would have done it sooner, but I don't want the babe to grow up too fast!
Giving us "forelorn".  He looked a lot more like Brigham after the haircut.  About 5 weeks later, he was getting scraggly hair again, so we gave him another haircut, and this time, I took off about 2 1/2 or 3 inches, and look how much he was still left with.....
Sweet little Hunter, how you have softened my heart all over again!
He is 7 1/2 months old and such a sweetheart.  He is starting to become very attached to me and whiny if someone else is holding him, but whatayagonnado?  He is not crawling yet, but is starting to rock on all fours.  Not such a great desire to crawl when he has 2 older siblings to bring him anything he wants.  He is finally sleeping until 4am or so, and I couldn't be happier.  He loves baby food and has learned to say mamamama when he wants me.  We are so happy to have him in our family and grateful for the reminder that children grow too fast, so we need to take more time to enjoy them.  Thank you for choosing us Hunter!

6-toothed Monster!

Our Tiny Dancer!!!

Sweet little Isabel has started dance, and the world better watch out:)!  She was so excited and dancing all over the house in her ballet slippers all morning before her class.  It is so fun to see her growing up and learning new things.  She brings us so much joy!  I can't wait to see how much she learns and develops this year.  We love you little sweetpea!
